Lauren Cushing is a performer, teacher and choreographer born and raised in New York where she received her primary dance training through the Award Winning Stage Door School of Dance Company. While in NY she additionally studied with LI Ballet Academy & Dance and attended many NYC tap, swing and Radio City Rockette’s workshops. Lauren also had the pleasure of performing in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade as Raggedy Ann as well as many local performances and parades. At the age of 15, she moved to Wellington, FL and studied with the WHS Dance Company. After graduation, she lived on Andros Island in the Bahamas for 4 years, where she volunteered her time teaching children and adults many forms of dance. Returning to Wellington, FL, Lauren currently trains in Crossfit, Yoga, Pilates and participates as performer and choreographer in Emunah Dance Ministry for Blueprints Church. Concentrating in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical and contemporary, Lauren is known for her passionate and high-energy choreography, as well as her positive, up-beat personality. She strives to have students in class become not only being excellent dancers, but also being strong, confident individuals.
