Samantha  is originally from West Palm Beach, Fl. She began her dance training at The Academy of Ballet Florida under the Artistic Direction of Marie Hale. While in the academy she worked closely with Ballet Florida’s professional company where she was provided the opportunity to take classes and perform alongside them in Marie Hale’s depiction of The Nutcracker. Samantha attended summer programs at the North Carolina School of the Arts and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. She graduated from Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts. After graduation Samantha decided to take a collegial track but continued her training in Ballet, the Graham technique, and the Horton technique. She obtained her Horton Pedagogy certification from Ana Marie Forsythe chair of the Horton department at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Upon her return to West Palm Beach she was on faculty at Dreyfoos School of the Arts and is currently teaching dance at U.B. Kinsey/Palmview Elementary School of the Arts. Her belief is that all children should have access to dance and it is her mission to ensure it materializes.Type your paragraph here.
